Wisdom tooth...yes, one tooth...out tomorrow. I'm absolutely petrified. But no, I'm not petrified of the actual operation. I'm petrified of the IV they use to knock me out. I've had a longstanding phobia of needles...a lot of you girls know this, either from my comments in AP psych class on it, or even the day the guy from the RI bloodbank came to talk about donating and I had to leave the room. It's not the blood, don't get me wrong, I'm not squeamish about blood. It's just the thought of a needle. A lot of you have also heard about my "traumatic experience" from when I was little, that caused my needle phobia. Well, Mrs. Nevola would be proud...I looked up the condition I have online. And all you psych girls will totallyyy know what this is talking about.

Associative

Extreme unexplained anxiety, difficulty breathing, sleeping and preoccupation with approaching procedure.

sub-consciously  associated traumatic event.  This includes fear transferred from parents or siblings who exhibit intense negative reactions to needle/medical procedures.

Emotional trauma (usually in childhood) associated with a medical/needle procedure

De-link needle procedures from the underlying associated fear.

Cognitive therapy,  hypnosis, NLP, etc. Anti-anxiety medications may be helpful.

3% 3 out of every 10 needle phobes

This is partially the type I have. the other type is:

Fainting, sweating, nausea, initially high blood pressure and heart rate, followed by a sudden precipitous plunge in blood pressure; patient tends to react passively

But yeah..idk..i'm just putting this out there so people can kind of understand my whole fear of needles. I'm not making it up...its a real deal. lol i'm so nervous about tomorrow..

the doctor is giving me valium for tonight though, and then when i go to the office tomorrow, they're giving me another dose of valium, and some laughing gas, before they put the IV drip in me. All this for one little tooth, I KNOW!...lol...i don't even care about the pain afterwards. Blahhh...

So basically this entry was a way for me to vent out my nerves about the whole thing tomorrow.

This Memorial Day weekend has been amazinggg. And it's not even over yet...ohmygah. Well, it's thunderstorming outside, and I haven't updated this thing in forever so I guess I'll recap the past few days for everyonee...

Thursday

- went to school...had barely any classes because teachers are sick of teaching us, except in math, Swanson taught us something but I definitely didn't pay attention

- last day of Bay View cafeteria food...I think that was the hardest part lol. I didn't even bring my own money...I had to borrow from Ash Salvati. I'm turning into Michaelaaaa.

- opening night of Hamlet....so yeah, I wasn't Laertes anymore. It was the most bittersweet feeling in the world, but watching how amazing little Ashley Mccann(?) was at my stage combat sequences, and at memorizing the lines, I knew I had done the right thing in "stepping back gracefully" from the role. I just couldn't handle it at this point in my life...I wasn't prepared...physically OR emotionally. I was just incredibly happy that Mr. Coutu was understanding about the situation. It kinda hurt that some girls were talking badly about me because of it...they have no idea where I was coming from...buuut what're ya gonna do. So yeah anyways, Hamlet, was great. Grand grand grand as Kav would say. Emily was beautiful, like...I can't express how phenomenal she was at playing Hamlet. She astounds me, and it boggles my mind that she is only a year older than my brother, but yet such a mature, awesome person. I love her so much. Definitely the freshman I will miss next year. Stef and I did "yoga" in the back the entire show lol...we scared the younger girls...I even heard one of them say "I hope we're not like that when we're seniors!"...as Stef and I were doing a dramatic representation of Danielle's hamster getting stuck in a vacuum. (yeah D...we were still laughing about that lol)

Coutu made me cry..like a lot. I think I cried the entire ride home. He's been such a mentor to me since the 7th grade...with everything. Not even just theater but my life too. He welled up when I hugged him..."you're gonna make me cry, little one"...ohh geez =/.

 I miss being onstage with Danielle already...we didn't want to move...

Friday- Last Day of Classes at Bay View

- So, my last day of school, and I didn't even come in on time. lol I rolled in at around 10...just in time for chamber class with everyone. We sang sappy senior songs and everybody cried. I got a pang in my stomach when we sang May the Road Rise. Can you believe it's over??

- seniors got dismissed at 12:45 for senior prom...but not meee =) alyssa, hilary and I all got out at 12:16 thanks to being in a junior physics class lol...hollerrr conceptual physics. soo yes senior prom!!!

Senior Prom (deserves its own title)

- spent the entiiire day obsessing over my tan-job that I had done on myself...eww..but it finally got straightened out lol wear sunscreen girls. burning makes you really ugly.

- went to get my hair done at this beautiful salon Jermane in Providence. I saw Natalia Sadanias (wooo..spellinggg?) there...she was cute. She was going to get a Nicole Kidman updo and I told her Nicole Kidman is my idol and that's a hot choice. Smiles all around =)

- umm went home to paint my nails, etc....my bestttt Gina came overr with some bling for me haha because i'm really poor lately and couldn't afford Claire's. We took lots of pictures and had such a good time getting ready. She almost cried I think. Not because I'm getting old or anything, but because she wanted to go to prom so badly. lol she helped me mix a little something-something for myself...it had been sitting in my underwear drawer for 3 months though so it was sooo strong. (this is an allusion to what happened after prom lol)

- Anthony, the hot date, showed up around 5:15 and it was just incredible from there. We matched pretty perfectly if I must say...and the lavender roses he gave me also matched in a too-good-to-be-true kinda way. We took a gazillion pictures at my house, and then we were off to Lau's house!! I think I was wayy too excited lol..Ant seemed a little nervous. We were kinda late to Lau's..but that's alright because the married couple was wayyy laterrr than we were. =)P Took pictures at Lau's, and my awesome friends looked..awesome. Kate's dress was absolutely gorgeous. Danielle's silk dress made me want to make out with her. Stef's hair was the best "sex hair" lol that I had ever seen. Lau was absolutely radiaaating next to Jah...they're so cute. omgg..all of them...everyone..so pretty.

- We took the limo to prom..haha 14 people squished into a 12-seater was...cozy.

- PROM!! ahh!! so incredible!!...The teachers had their "breathalizer receiving line" all set up and I was so excited to see them there...especiallyyy Mrs. Nevola, my psych teacher. I love her so much. Umm...the dance floor was definitelyyy larger than the one for junior prom, so props to whoever chose the Westin. and yea...prom was just...b e a u t i f u l. I looked around at all these girls I had known all my life and I couldn't believe that this was the last night we'd all be dancing together. So, I danced my heart out...barely sat down. It was Anthony's last prom too, since he opted not to go to his, and we had so much fun together. The music was kinda disappointing..but thats okay. We made the best of it. Congrats to Jackie Kazarian who got prom queen =) she totally deserved it.

- prom ended..I think anthony basically had to carry me off the dance floor. I didn't want to walk away. I did though, eventually. And we took the limo back to Lau's house..and then me and Anthony, Lau & Jah, Kay & Kyle, hung out at Jah's house. I got prettyyyy tipsy off one glass of that peroxide-like stuff that Gina mixed for me lol I was giggling at absolutely everrrything Anthony said to me. It was cute though, he got kinda blasted himself.

- Went back to Anthony's house after Jah's...and it was really the best ending to a night. Me and Ant got to spoon with each other lol (thats totally not sexual incase a parent happens to read this. or Sister Viola.) ...anddd me and Micheala crashed upstairs while Ant and Kyle slept downstairs. I got to sleep in his bed =) woo.

- So all in all...prom was the fairytale experience I had been hoping for since grade 9. I got over the fact that I wasn't there with who I thought I would end up at prom with...and you know something? I don't think I could've had such an amazinggg time with anyone else besides Anthony. He's just a really cool guy. =) Big crush.

Saturday

-woke up at the ass-crack of dawn for Michaela because she had to get ready for a recital at 9:00. her and Kyle left after breakfast and then it was me and Ant for the day

- we chilled out most of the day...watched "A Cinderella Story" with Chad Michael Murray and Hilary Duff. haha well, I watched it, and he napped. we took showers and got Starbucks. then later on we headed back to the woodland area of Rehoboth so I could get fixed up. We ended up going to Colt State Park for a nap lol...another one. It was funny but there were little red bugs crawling onto the blanket...he tried telling me that they're called "red bugs of death" and that they burrow under your skin for a day "to chill" and then they leave. haha i think i almost believed him too. buut yeah i fell asleep..lol..we were laying right on the grass by the water, and it was adorable. took some pictures.

- we hung out at my house for a little while but got kinda bored....sooo we went to the Carousel in riverside =) omgg I'm obsessed with the carousel. it was soo much fun...i felt five years old again. we went on three times...lol...it was just perfect.

- the night ended back at my house...we watched The Grudge...veryy scary movie. good date movie though. gahh i like him =) can you totally tell? im so pathetic.

buut yeah...it's Sunday...not much has gone down today. I worked 7-1:00 and then i came home and i've been napping all day. haha i feel like such a scrub for writing such a long entry but i hope you enjoy. lol it took awhile.
